About Us

Cortex Health Training
Cortex Health Training was established by a group of experienced clinicians who have spent years working within the NHS and wider healthcare settings within the UK, US and Asia. Through their frontline experience, they recognised a growing gap between the demand for ADHD services and the availability of properly trained professionals equipped to deliver safe, effective care.
Our organisation is built on a simple principle: to raise the standard of ADHD education and empower healthcare professionals with practical, real-world skills.

Our Mission
Our mission is to support the development of a highly skilled clinical workforce capable of addressing the increasing demand for ADHD assessment and management across the UK.
We aim to:
•    Improve access to high-quality ADHD care
•    Equip clinicians with structured, evidence-based training
•    Bridge the gap between theory and real clinical practice

Why We Exist
Across the UK, thousands of individuals are currently navigating life with undiagnosed or unsupported ADHD. Many face ongoing challenges in focus, organisation, and day-to-day functioning—often without fully understanding why.
At the same time, healthcare systems are under pressure, with long waiting times and limited specialist capacity.
We believe part of the solution lies in training more confident, competent clinicians who can contribute safely and effectively within their scope of practice.

What We Do
Cortex Health Training delivers structured educational programmes focused on ADHD assessment frameworks, diagnostic understanding, and treatment principles aligned with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidance.
Our courses are designed to:
•    Provide clear, practical clinical knowledge
•    Build confidence in assessment processes
•    Support safe, responsible decision-making
•    Prepare clinicians for real-world application

Our Approach
We focus on practical, clinically relevant training rather than purely theoretical learning.
Our programmes are:
•    Delivered by experienced healthcare professionals
•    Grounded in current clinical guidelines
•    Designed for pharmacists, nurses, and other qualified practitioners
•    Focused on real-life scenarios and decision-making

Our Vision
We envision a healthcare system where:
•    ADHD is recognised and addressed earlier
•    Patients have timely access to appropriate care
•    Clinicians feel confident and supported in their roles
By investing in education, we aim to contribute to a more responsive and effective approach to ADHD care across the UK.

A Note on Responsibility
Our training is designed to support professional development.
Clinical practice, diagnosis, and prescribing remain subject to individual qualifications, regulatory requirements, and indemnity arrangements.
